I have gotten to the point where I now expect us to lose these games. Did we really need to run Acosta out there for another inning? He wasn't exactly mowing people down. Sheesh
I feel the same way. I thought we would pinch hit for Acosta, but then who closes? Buddy Carlyle? The bullpen is a mess, but the real problem is the lack of clutch hitting. This line-up ought to be able to pick up the slack while Soriano, Smoltz and Gonzalez get healthy, but it isn't doing it.
